Like most households around Austin, you’ve come to rely on your appliances to get daily chores done more easily for you. When something like your washing machine needs fixing, you find yourself at a loss for how to survive until it gets working again. That’s when you need help from a professional Austin appliance repair company.
At Appliance Masters, we understand that a home with a broken appliance is a home that isn’t functioning normally – and we don’t like that any more than you do! Same day appointments are standard for us, and there’s never an extra charge for that kind of service.
Our repair technicians are among the best, most highly trained in the Austin area. They are fully insured and the work they do is backed by by a full 90 day warranty on all work performed, as well as 12 month warranty on any parts we use. On top of that, we promise that they will be kind, courteous and clean – you’ll never be left with a mess to clean up after we perform our job.
Our trucks are well stocked with parts, so most repairs can be finished in a single visit. If we do have to leave to get a part, you will never be charged for a return trip. We charge by the job, not by the hour, so however long it takes us to get it fixed right, you’ll still pay the same price.
Speaking of price, before we do any work on your washer or other appliance, we’ll perform a complete diagnostic on it to know exactly what is wrong and what it will take to fix it. We will share that report with you, as well as provide you with a written quote on the cost to get things fixed. You will never get stuck with an unpleasant surprise on your bill.
After reviewing our recommendations, if you agree with the diagnosis and the price, the full amount of the service call – 100% will be applied towards the repair cost. (What’s more, we like to thank our customers who find us online by offering them an extra 15% discount off the labor of any repair, as our way of saying “thanks for giving us a try, Austin!” Just click here to get your discount code).

Today’s modern appliances, like your clothes washer, truly do a lot of grunt work for us. Suddenly finding dirty clothes piling up because you can’t run your own wash can be really stressful. Dragging everything down to a public laundromat isn’t how you want to be spending what little extra time you may have, and laundering by hand is out of the question! (By the way, did you know that according to an 1886 calculation, women fetched water eight to ten times every day from a pump, well, or spring, and after heating the water, washing, rinsing and ironing, the entire clothes washing process often occupied an entire day of hard work. No wonder we love our modern day washing machines!)
In the more recent past, when mechanical things stopped working right, many ‘handy’ people were inclined to grab a screwdriver and pliers and just tinker around to get things working again. Today’s appliances don’t work like that, so if you’re thinking of going down that path… we suggest you think long and hard before you do.
With microprocessors and other complex electronics to help with programming different laundry types, variable temperatures, multiple speed settings and steam settings, time-delayed microcontroller activation and all kinds of energy saving functions (especially on EnergyStar models), it’s not surprising to learn today’s modern home appliances are more like super computers than old world scrub boards and wash tubs. And unless you’re factory trained (like the repair techs at Appliance Masters), doing any kind of work on a newer machine, whether it be a front loading or top loading washer or any kind of clothes dryer, you run the risk of voiding any kind of manufacturers warranty that may exist (not to mention you might cause more damage that will be even more difficult and expensive for the professionals to fix when they eventually get to it).
So even thought there are some appliance repairs that you can attempt to do yourself, we highly recommend you consider a few things before undertaking such a project yourself. For example, do you have all the necessary tools to do the job right? What about the parts? You’ll need to go get the appropriate parts, which will cost you time. And then you have to hope you’re working on the correct problem and that you get everything right so that your home can get back to ‘normal’ again.
Wouldn’t it just be easier, quicker and more certain to have a trained professional handle it for you? Today?
It’s the right call to make when you need your washer fixed
Austin Appliance Masters works on all brands of washers and dryers, such as Amana, Asko, Bosch, Braun, Dacor, Electrolux, Frigidaire, Gaggenau, GE, GE Monogram, GE Profile, Honeywell, Kenmore, KitchenAid, LG, Maytag, Miele, Samsung, Sub Zero, Thermador, U-Line, Viking, Whirlpool, and Wolf, as well as other home and commercial appliances. Some of the more common problems we see with washing machines include:
- Washer isn’t filling
- Washer isn’t draining
- Washer is draining all over the floor
- Clothing isn’t coming out as clean as it used to
- Clothes are coming out damaged and torn
- Washing machine doesn’t spin
- When washer spins, it makes a loud/strange noise
- Washer is stuck on showing an error code and you can’t get past it
We’ve seen all these problems (and many more!), many times during our years of service calls. More often than not our technicians can get to the bottom of the problem and get it fixed in less time than it takes to wash and dry a load of laundry. And because MOST of the time a washer can be fixed, a repair is also far less expensive than going out and buying a brand new, replacement machine (and you don’t have to dispose of a big, old clunker and have a new one installed).
